The Atman Clinic was established in 1994 by Geoffrey Montague-Smith D.O., as a centre of excellence for Osteopathy and has since grown to become the premier centre for Complementary Medicine in Tunbridge Wells. The clinic, situated in Chilston Road, features beautifully presented light and airy treatment rooms and is home to over 20 experienced practitioners offering everything under one roof from Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture to state of the art Holistic Dentistry and Beauty Therapy.

Acupuncture is a traditional form of Oriental medicine which is based on the understanding that the body is linked by energy pathways called ‘meridians’.

During an Acupuncture treatment, ultra-fine needles are inserted into the skin at specific points which correspond to organs, glands and other body structures, thought to stimulate the body’s power to heal. In addition to promoting general good health, Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide variety of disorders including musculo-skeletal problems, arthritis, addictions, asthma, hay fever, depression, anxiety, allergies, migraines, nausea, high blood pressure, digestive disorders.
