Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an ancient medical system that can help you regain your natural healing ability. TCM is an integral part of Chinese culture where it's practised alongside Westernmedicine to provide medical and health services. Chinese medicine has unique diagnostic methods and at its heart is the tenet that the root cause of illnesses, not just their symptoms, must be treated.
Such treatments are also combined with quality-controlled TCM products. Practitioner-in-charge of Oriental Acu Herb Clinic, Dr. Li, has been working as qualified traditional Chinese Practitioner forover 20 years after he graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (one of the best traditional Chinese medicine university in China). He dedicates himself to his career, aiming at serving his patients with his rich clinical experience and outstanding skills.

Chinese medicine can also be a very useful, safe adjunct to western medical treatment. Although Chinese medicine is one of the oldest traditions of healthcare, it is an evolving system with increasing scientific evidence supporting its efficacy.
I enjoy all the aspects of a busy general acupuncture practice, I also attract a lot of pregnancy work because of my midwifery background. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) of which acupuncture is apart can seem very strange to us in the UK, its language, the way the body is seen, the diagnosis and the treatment. My role is to make it less mysterious and enable you to gain the benefits of the treatments and to bridge the gap between East and West.
