About the Business
The Academy of Oriental Medicine Ltd was started by Dr Graham Chandler & Dr Philip Lawes. It was founded with the idea to keep the disciplines of Traditional Chinese Medicine together as they are taught in China and the Far East, instead of studying the disciplines individually as is the common practice within the UK. This gives the therapist a far greater knowledge and the potential to treat a wider range of diseases and dysfunction.
All directors are multi-disciplined therapists, and have travelled the Far East taking courses and studying, to enable them to treat and teach with a much wider Knowledge and understanding. Graham and Philip are the founder members of the Academy of Oriental Medicine. Recently Dr Chandler and Dr Lawes have both been awarded the position and title of "Fellow of the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine".
