Our acupuncturist is Dr (TCM) Attilio D'Alberto. He has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine since graduating from Beijing University of Tradtitional Chinese Medicine in 2004.

Attilio was born in the UK and grew up in Beckenham, Bromley. Both his mother and brother are also acupuncturists.

Attilio is many academic papers published and is currently writing two books on fertility.

Acupuncture is a great regulator. It helps to makes things move, like water. When your energy and blood and moving better, you are healthier.

Acupuncture regulates the body by the insertion of very fine pins into certain points on the body. This acts to regulate the energy there, like irrigating water in a field.

Water is energy, the bringer of life. Making sure the body is supplied properly is important in helping the body to then heal itself.

An example of this is pain. Pain is stagnation in a specific point, like a traffic jam. When this occurs nothing can get through leading to numbness and tingling somewhere else.

By inserting an acupuncture pin into the painful area, acupuncture is able to release the stagnation and allow everything to move properly again.
