About the Business

As a professionally trained traditional acupuncturist, I can use the theory underlying acupuncture to treat you whilst you are with me. I can also use this theory to help you to review your health and suggest detailed dietary and lifestyle changes which could benefit you, and rather like a personal trainer, I can then work with you to set goals to encourage you in improving your health over time.

I find this approach especially helpful working with people in their middle years who are navigating the physical effects of getting older but wanting to keep themselves healthy and active despite the demands of work and family.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine have a very long history in East Asia, where the general guiding principles of Chinese medicine are part of the culture, and are used to treat a wide range of health issues.

I use acupuncture to treat a wide range of conditions, and find it particularly effective where there is a musculo-skeletal component: for example where there is pain, or where the range of movement is restricted or flexibility is reduced; as well as in the treatment of headache and migraine, gynaecological and gastrointestinal problems.
