About the Business

Since 2005 I have owned and run, a caring clinic in the middle of busy Cross Hands. If you haven’t encountered Chiropractic inspired therapies before, but you have back, neck or similar problems, we could be able to help you.

The systemic approach that we use, (drawing from Chiropractic, soft tissue therapies, sports medicine and acupuncture) can resolve problems such as aches and pains, stiffness and discomfort as well as headaches, fatigue or dizziness; sometimes, all at the same time. We skilfully manipulate joints and tissues to address your discomfort, easing muscles and creating the scope for healing.

At Spine Fine, we operate on the evidence and work in tandem with your GP or other medical professionals. We aspire to professionalism and hope that is the impression we impart.

We have helped over 3000 local people since we started. Our patients have been people from all walks of life and levels of fitness. We treat committed athletes, as well as ordinary gym members, farmers, construction workers and office staff, pregnant women (who can be helped with back and pelvic strain), parents, children, young people and the retired… We could go on, because almost everyone can benefit from coming to see us and (trade secret) healthy sports people even use us to give them ‘the edge’ in performance and success.

Why not call us, in confidence, to discuss your situation? Or, I suggest you take our genuinely FREE Posture Check, it’ll take about 15 minutes out of your day but it may just open up new options for health, fitness and general comfort.

Medical Acupuncture or ‘Dry Needling’

Medical Acupuncture or ‘Dry Needling’

Acupunture can be provided alongside your chiropractic treatment or as a standalone treatment for joint pain, muscular pain and spasm’s, headaches and for chronic pain.

Most people in the west are aware that there has been a continuous development of acupuncture in Chinese traditional medicine over several thousand years. Although why acupuncture works to relieve pain is still a mystery; that it does is undoubted, proven again and again in international medical studies.

The most persuasive theory for acupuncture is that an alternative stimulus confuses pain signals headed for the brain. There is clear evidence too that acupuncture can stimulate the production of ‘feel good’ neuro-chemicals like endorphins, serotonin and acetylcholine within the central nervous system (Chu 1979; Stux 2003). Acupuncture, it seems, can use the body’s own pain relief mechanisms to the most beneficial effect.

The use of ‘Dry Needling’ at Spine Fine Spine Fine use a brand of therapeutic acupuncture, also known as ‘Dry Needling’, as a drug free pain relief option. We offer this therapy either complementary to Chiropractic treatment or in its own right. Our patients are almost universally positive about dry needling, but if you are a little needle phobic, this may not be for you and it isn’t obligatory in any way.
